As the Chief Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records.Key Responsibilities:- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards and regulations- Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts- Monitor cash flow and manage banking relationships- Conduct regular audits to identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to senior management- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial information- Train and supervise accounting staff, ensuring their adherence to company policies and procedures- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting regulations and standards- Develop and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, such as auditors and tax advisors- Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes to help drive the company's growth and profitabilityQualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field- CPA or other relevant certification is preferred- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior-level accounting role- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations- Proven experience managing and leading a team- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel- Strong communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously- Attention to detail and accuracy- Experience in the construction industry is a plusWe offer competitive salary and benefits packages, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
