Our client is a leading FMCG producer and distributor, known for its high-quality, innovative products.
TheCategory Managerwill be responsible for developing, implementing, and executing strategic marketing plans for Categories within the organization to attract potential consumers and retain existing ones.
Job Location: Sheikh Zayed, Egypt.
Key Accountabilities- Develop and execute marketing strategies and plans in line with the Company's overall policies.
- Deploy successful marketing campaigns from ideation to execution.
- Develop brand targets and goals; and ensure their achievement.
- Plan and oversee company advertising and promotion activities.
- Formulate Category/brand pricing policy.
- Design, analyze, and interpret market research to aid in understanding the external environment of the category/brands.
- Maintain frequent communication with both consumers and trade.
- Monitor brand performance, sales, profitability, and all KPIs related and share through monthly reviews with team members.
- Evaluate market reactions to marketing activities to ensure the timely adjustment of marketing strategy and plans to meet changing market and competitive conditions.
- Monitor competition activities, evaluate them, and recommend the appropriate response.
- Ensure effective control of marketing results and corrective actions to ensure that the achievement of marketing objectives is within designated budgets.
- Liaise with all external parties and agencies, and Maintain brand image in the market.
- Coordinate the operational planning activities with other departments.
- Communicate with and advise related departments on all relevant matters concerning the brands.
- Generate new business leads.
Knowledge, Skills, and ExperienceWe are Looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business administration. An MBA is a plus.
- 8 -10 years of experience in marketing at an FMCG essential.
- Having experience in the food industry is a must.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Objective analytical skills.
- Fluency in English, spoken and written.
- Proven success in developing marketing plans and campaigns.
