Your Mission
This position is responsible for providing Field Services operational inputs to supply chain design & operations. Ensuring process alignment and improvement between Field Services Operations team and Supply Chain teams

Duties and Responsibilities:
· Ensure the application of the commodity strategy and align on the key supplier panel.
· Propose productivity actions (negotiations, change of suppliers, quality value engineering) within the designated perimeter, consistent with the commodity strategy.
· Identify modern technologies and suppliers and characterize gaps between needs and the current supplier panel.
· Provide local market intelligence and new product launch requirements to build sourcing strategies.
· Share key choices with commodity managers and cross-functional teams.
· Manage supplier consultation and selection according to the commodity strategy.
· Manage supply qualification; negotiate and manage contracts/agreements with suppliers (price, delivery, terms and conditions).
· Monitor and ensure competitive material costs to meet product target costs (design/redesign to cost).
· Obtain and analyze supplier quotes.
· Act as the first escalation level for supplier crisis management.
· Address and resolve supplier quality of service and business continuity issues.
· Support the Plant Procurement Manager and Procurement Group Manager on Supplier Relationship Management strategy (sponsorship, connect to partner, business reviews).
Cost and Quality Management:
· Participate in cost estimation.
· Implement quality and cost reduction objectives related to action plans and productivity programs.
· Contribute to the procurement database update by providing necessary information to commodity managers, supplier leaders, and plants.
· Develop new products at suppliers.
· Scout for new suppliers be added to the approved suppliers list.
· Develop existing suppliers to improve their capabilities and increase their bandwidth.
· Lead localization and effective regionalization projects.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
· Minimum 2 to 3 years Direct Procurement experience
· Minimum 5 to 7 years’ experience in manufacturing
· Experience in costing and has a proven record for cost saving projects is a plus
· Experience in procuring fabricated components (sheet metal parts, machining parts, forging, and casted material) is a plus.
· Excellent command of the English language.
· Proficient user of MS Office.
