THE JOB:



The primary responsibility of the Casino Host Services Specialist is to promptly fulfill all requests from Casino Marketing Executives while providing additional support for Casino Marketing initiatives. All duties must be carried out in compliance with departmental and company policies, practices, and procedures.
STARTING RATE: $22.30 an hour

THE DAY-TO-DAY:



Respond to ACD (Automatic Call Distribution) lines: Answer calls professionally and assist executives with reservation bookings and inquiries, following the telephone etiquette standards established by the Casino Marketing department.
Book reservations: Secure reservations for casino rooms, restaurants, golf, transportation, cabanas, amenities, spas, and nightclubs as needed, ensuring a high level of guest service that aligns with the property's core standards.
Manage ticket blocks: Build and maintain ticket blocks in the resort system for resident shows.
Evaluate casino play: Assess casino activity to issue complimentary amenities and accurately settle customer accounts based on comp criteria and Casino Host instructions, while ensuring guest information is consistently updated.
Maintain knowledge of services: Stay informed about hotel services, local attractions, and activities to provide accurate information and assist various departments—including Casino Hosts, the VIP Lounge, and Special Events—in managing guest relations.
Ensure compliance: Adhere to all legal requirements, including Title 31, and participate in mandatory compliance and training sessions while staying updated on departmental and property policies.
Demonstrate multitasking skills: Effectively manage the demands of a fast-paced environment through multitasking, sound judgment, and exceptional guest service, aligning with the brand’s values.
Support Casino Marketing Operations: Aid Casino Marketing Operations and Executives to enhance customer service and team alignment, remaining informed about procedural, policy, and informational updates.
Maintain guest profiles: Ensure guest profiles and preferences are accurate and comprehensive, including contact information and specific details to personalize the guest experience.
Embrace departmental standards: Actively uphold a thorough understanding of all departmental standards and policies, contributing to a safe and efficient work environment.
Additional Duties: Perform other job-related duties as requested.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:



Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent educational experience
Experience: At least 6 months of experience in Front Desk, VIP Services, Casino Marketing, or high-volume customer service roles.
Exceptional Customer Service Skills: Demonstrates a strong commitment to providing outstanding customer service, always ensuring guest satisfaction and positive experiences.
Proficient in Computer and POS Systems: Possesses solid computer skills, with knowledge of Point of Sale (POS) systems to efficiently handle transactions and manage customer information.
Strong Communication and Professionalism: Exhibits excellent verbal and written communication skills, maintaining a professional demeanor while interacting with guests and team members.
Positive Attitude and Willingness to Learn: Displays a proactive attitude and a genuine enthusiasm for learning new processes and systems, adapting quickly to evolving business needs.
Team Player: Works collaboratively within a team environment, fostering a positive workplace culture and contributing to overall team success.
