THE JOB :
As a Cage Cashier at Luxor, your main focus will be to provide exceptional service by processing monetary transactions and exchanges for our guests. By attentively understanding each guest's unique needs and stories, you will create WOW experiences that extend well beyond their stay with us!
THE STARTING PAY RATE: $17.25 / Per Hour

THE DAY-TO-DAY:



Execute a range of frontline transactions, including chip bank, poker, cage credit, and employee bank/window transactions Manage operations at the marker/IOU bank and High Limit cage, while also servicing patron Kiosk/TRU units and employee Recycler/JetSafe units Cash checks for patrons following established guidelines, and redeem chips/tokens, TITO (ticket in/ticket out), and Race and Sports tickets Conduct Marker and Front Money transactions on patron accounts Handle the redemption of all acceptable foreign currencies Ensure all recordable transactions involving company assets are secured and documented Accurately complete electronic multiple transaction logs and manual transaction logs as needed Provide patrons with general information upon request Issue or surrender safety deposit boxes Perform additional job-related duties as assigned

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:



Must be 21 years of age or older Nevada State Gaming Registration High school diploma, GED or educational equivalent Must be able to work various shifts, including weekends and all holidays High volume chip handling experience Experience in fast paced customer service Proficiency in fundamental mathematical skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and money handling Has the ability to balance a bank without assistance (identifying errors when out of balance) Working knowledge of 10-key adding machine, currency counter and cash advance machine Basic knowledge of computer software to include Outlook, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as office equipment Is detail-oriented and can multi-task in a fast paced, team environment Capable of standing and walking for a majority of the shift Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all stakeholders Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms
