Business Intelligence Lead

About the role As a Business Intelligence Lead at Sylndr, you will lead a team responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions. Your primary focus will be on transforming raw data into meaningful insights that drive business decisions. You will work closely with various departments to understand their data needs and deliver comprehensive reports and dashboards. You will ensure the quality, accuracy, and accessibility of data while fostering a data-driven culture within the organization. + Lead and mentor a team of BI analysts and data engineers, promoting a collaborative and innovative work environment.
+ Design, develop, and maintain BI solutions, including dashboards, reports, and data models.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
+ Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across all BI solutions.
+ Oversee the integration of various data sources into the BI platform.
+ Develop and implement data visualization standards and best practices.
+ Present insights and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders.
+ Monitor and optimize the performance of BI systems and solutions.
+ Maintain documentation of BI processes, methodologies, and solutions.
+ Educate and assist business stakeholders in effectively answering their ad-hoc questions through data self-service.
+ Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in BI tools and technologies.
Who You Are
+ 4 to 5 years in a business intelligence role, with at least 1 year in a leadership or mentoring position.
+ Strong proficiency in BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
+ Advanced SQL skills, with the ability to query and manipulate complex data sets efficiently.
+ Experience with data warehousing concepts and technologies (e.g., Google BigQuery, Snowflake).
+ Excellent data modeling skills. Experience with DBT is a plus.
+ Deep knowledge of ETL best practices.
+ Strong attention to detail and a proactive, innovative mindset.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
+ Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
+ Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
+ Having an automotive background is a PLUS.
