The Business Intelligence Analyst leads decisions for customers and partners by supporting and providing data analysis of patterns and insights. You will mine data from a variety of data sources to support impactful recommendations to partners. These insights help solve mildly complex business problems, implement best practices, and optimize our performance. The Reporting Business Intelligence Analyst creates specifications for reports and analysis based on our needs and data available. The Analyst ensures processes are followed, and any fall out are addressed properly. You will receive mentorship on complex issues from more senior staff and management. Requires core knowledge of analysis solutions and domain languages. May need to be proficient in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) databases and Business Intelligence (BI) tools.
Use core analytic solutions to support customer teams and improve efficiencies. Work on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Complexity can vary based on several factors such as client size, number of systems, varying levels of established structures, or dynamics of customer and data
Work and build internal relationships to ensure data is available for analysis and better business understanding
Interpret goals, trends, risks, and areas for improvement by collecting on important metrics and conclusions. Maintain integrity of reports and dashboards to allow business
Deliver data-driven recommendations to our teams
Support partners for forecasting, and to understand and compile impactful business questions
Support team members with ad-hoc reporting
Seek counsel and guidance from higher level business intelligence analysts.
You will receive guidance and mentorship on more complex projects/matters from higher level analysts and management.
You will manage your work and begin to gain exposure to some complex work with gained experience and reliable performance
Proficient knowledge of core analysis solutions (such as OLTP/OLAP data structures,, Tableau, Salesforce, Power BI, Business Objects)
Proficient knowledge of domain languages (such as SQL Query, HIVEQL, etc.)
0 – 3 years of related experience to reflect skills and talent necessary for this role preferred • May require general sales motion knowledge
May require general industry and demographic understanding in one of the following: hardware, software, SaaS, healthcare or industrial
Bachelor’s degree/diploma, or the equivalent, preferred. Degree/diploma in computer science, finance, or statistics/mathematics a plus
2+ years of experience in data driven business insight recommendations, business analytics, dashboard design experience
