JOB PURPOSE / OBJECTIVE



●        Managing, directing and supervising all activities of the Business Development Department, including co-ordination, marketing, Budget preparation and planning for the promotion of the Company’s image to achieve profit targets in a cost efficient and in accordance with professional ethics, standards and quality acceptable to the local legislation, Company’s policies, clients’ satisfaction and meets with International codes of practice.


Ensure that each of the functions is providing the support that is required. Making personal visits and whenever applicable presentations to important customers and maintain an active and positive relationship. To represent the company in legal, official functions which can involve cumbersome and time consuming protocol. Must show sensitivity and awareness of the appropriate procedures and steps required to comply with local laws and regulations and with Company policies, procedures, and practices.



KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES



ØHSE


·Implementing HSEQ Policy requirements.


·Establishing HSEQ objectives and targets to meet the Company HSEQ objectives and safety plan.


·Ensures availability of safety information for the Company’s products and communicate them to the clients.


·Conducts a minimum of one site visit to all operations site including workshop & blending facilities to ensure company’s full compliance of the HSE standards and procedures. A monthly HSE site visit report will be submitted to the Senior Management.


·Demonstrating a clear commitment to HSEQ policy matters.


·Keep good communication with all employees on HSQ Management System matters thru memos, email, bulletin board notification, etc.


·Conduct Timely safety meetings and effective follow-up on all HSE matters/incidents with clients


·Participates in Management HSE Meetings to discuss, promote and action awareness of safety rules/regulations by personnel and contractors and ensure adherence to the same.


·Implements a report system of Dangerous Situation Feedback (DSF)


·& encourages all subordinates at all times.


·Achieve zero accident rate.


ØOperations and Business Process:


·Manages, directs, supervises the activities of the Business Development department in a most effective and professional manner in accordance to the policy and guidelines provided by the management.


·Market and promote the products and services of the international Agencies assigned to you and ensure that the products & services of all Principals are all qualified to be approved in the approved bidder’s list of the clients.


·Maintain regular contacts with the Company’s customers.


·Responsible for the entertainment of the customers in accordance to the objectives outlined in our yearly budget.


·To comply with additional responsibilities that may be given from time from the Management of the Company.


·Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business


·Identify potential clients, and the decision makers within the client organization.


·Research and build relationships with new clients.


·Participate in pricing the solution/service.


·Present new products and services and enhance existing relationships.


·Work with Operations and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs.


·Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends.


·Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in business.


·Present to and consult with management on business trends with a view to developing new services, products, and distribution channels.


·Submit weekly progress reports and ensure data is accurate.


·Ensure that data is accurately entered and managed within the company’s CRM.


·Work with Contracts and Tenders Dept to ensure that prerequisites (like prequalification or getting on a vendor list) are fulfilled within a timely manner.


ØFinancial:


·To ensure that all Invoices raised by the Company are settled promptly by the clients.Expected time frame is maximum 60 days and personal attention to be given for all outstanding payments.


·Achieve the approved sales forecast within agreed expense limit.


·Approve variation of prices, discounts, etc. within the limit laid down by the management.


·Estimate the costing of all products and establish appropriate pricing in accordance to the company’s policies and guidelines.


·Control all expenses and ensure that all spending are made according to the budget approved & instructions laid down by the Management.


·Ensure that all the resources of the company are effectively used in a cost effective manner.


·Co-ordinate and liaise effectively with the Finance and Accounts Dept. on matters relating to financial responsibilities in order to ensure that the company is operating in accordance to our Company’s policy.


·Submit a monthly report on the activities and the general achievement of revenues against the budget.


·Prepare and present a yearly budget for the approval of the Management regarding expected sales and revenues during the year.
