Business Development Manager
As an Export Sales and HORECA Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing export sales strategies to achieve sales targets, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in international markets and fostering B2B partnerships within Egypt’s HORECA sector.

As a Business Development Manager, you will be doing the following activities:
- Develop and implement strategies to meet sales targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in international markets.
- Foster potential B2B partnerships within Egypt’s HORECA sector.
- Build and maintain relationships with key clients, distributors, and HORECA partners.
- Collaborate with HORECA partners to create innovative recipes and new products tailored to the AFH (Away from Home) channel.
- Understand market trends and customer preferences.
- Work closely with chefs and food technologists to develop unique offerings.
- Lead and manage projects related to the development of new products and recipes.
- Coordinate with internal departments such as R&D, marketing, supply chain, and quality assurance.
- Set project timelines, manage budgets, and ensure all stakeholders are aligned and informed.
- Track and report on the performance of business development initiatives.
- Provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Analyze sales data, customer feedback, and project outcomes to identify areas for optimization.
- Ensure compliance with export regulations.
- Manage documentation.
- Responsible for end-to-end export P&L management.
To be able to achieve the above and be successful in this role we believe you need to have:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience: 3-6 years of proven experience in managing F&B export business development, preferably within the FMCG industry. Experience in the AFH channel is highly desirable.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of international markets, export regulations, and trade compliance.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and results-oriented mindset.
