Position Overview:
Reptile Solutions is seeking an experienced Business Development Director to lead our business development strategy within the Hospitality sector. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, initiating and managing hotel-related projects from inception to completion, and leading a team to ensure the successful delivery of key initiatives. As a critical member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our company’s growth within the hotel sector and making a significant impact on the success of our hotel operations. This is a unique opportunity to drive the expansion of our business in an exciting and dynamic industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy Development: Lead the development and execution of business development strategies specifically tailored for hotel operations to acquire new clients, drive occupancy rates, and enhance revenue growth.
- Project Leadership: Oversee the initiation and management of new hospitality projects from start to finish, including hotel openings, renovations, or other major initiatives, ensuring high standards and timely delivery.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients, hotel partners, and stakeholders, ensuring that the business is aligned with market needs and client expectations.
- Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and inspire a team to deliver high-performance results for the hotel division, ensuring they meet objectives and are motivated to deliver exceptional service.
- Market Insights: Track and analyze market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities in thehospitality sector, identifying opportunities for business growth and helping inform strategic decisions.
- Sales Cycle Management: Oversee the end-to-end sales process within the hotel industry, including negotiating contracts, managing relationships, and ensuring overall client satisfaction from booking to check-out.
Qualifications:
- Proven Experience in hospitality: At least 7 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field, with a strong background in the hospitality industry. Previous experience in managing hotel projects or working within hotel management is a must for this position.
- Leadership Expertise: Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams, particularly in hospitality settings, with a proven track record of driving results in a leadership role.
- Project Management: Experience in initiating, planning, and executing hotel-related projects from the ground up, ensuring successful completion and operational excellence.
- Analytical and Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical skills with the ability to influence decisions at all organizational levels and make data-driven recommendations specific to the hotel industry.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills to engage with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams effectively.
- Thriving in a Fast-Paced Environment: Ability to excel in a fast-paced, results-driven environment, especially within the hotel and hospitality industry, with a focus on delivering measurable outcomes.
