Job Description

Danone MENA is looking for a self-motivated and talented Business Controller for our KSA Cluster, to be based in Cairo, Egypt like you! In the context of Specialized Nutrition MENA, the candidate will be responsible for supporting the Controlling Lead on budget controlling, distributors follow up, and financial monitoring with a special focus on the KSA Cluster.


The candidate will carry the following responsibilities:


    • Finance point of contact for KSA cluster
    • Budget coordination & control of A&P, Trade Promo, and other Selling costs
    • Understanding of Topline controlling, variances and related forecasting
    • Follow up distributor collections and customers' accounts receivables in Saudi Arabia in coordination with the Business services team
    • Responsible for material cost and CO analysis by SKU
    • Manage Saudi Arabia PO approvals as well as TP commitments
    • Manage Saudi Arabia Actual P&L database and Rolling Forecast Magnitude submission (P&L, Balance Sheet...)
    • Support in the development of Country budgets from Ex-factory volumes to ROP
    • Help controlling manager in maintaining a strong control environment and support in year-end statutory audit, Danone internal audit requirements, and legal reports
    • Propose new business processes and procedures to drive efficiency
    • Manage, update and improve cluster’s dashboards (Excel and Power BI)


    KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:


    • No unexpected over-or under-spend vs. budget; variances are aligned and approved by regional management.
    • Numbers (reporting, planning, forecasting) are submitted flawless and in time.
    • Internal Control procedures are followed for KSA Office, proper authorization is in place.

To be successful in the role you should ideally have:


Bachelor and Experience:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Minimum of 2 years’ previous experience in a similar finance role,ideally in Pharmaceutical/FMCG organizations
  • Accounting Background is a Plus
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to build/manage relationships and influence stakeholders inside and outside the organization
  • Ability to work cross functionally
  • Good knowledge of Power BI
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, in particular Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint
