CardoO: Home of the 1st Egyptian smartwatch, Innovators in IoT Consumer Electronics, is hiring a branding graphic deisgenr to join it's team.
What are we looking for? We are seeking a highly creative and skilled Brand Designer to join our team to work across our key markets in Egypt and India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality visual and motion graphic designs for a variety of projects, including digital advertising, social media content, website design, and video production. The Brand Designer will collaborate with marketing and creative teams to bring concepts to life and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. This role requires strong attention to details, creativity, and the ability to work in a fast-paced multi cultural environment.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Promoting the company’s vision, message and identity visually on all platforms while ensuring consistency in the designs across all projects and brand guidelines
2. Creating appealing concepts using brand guidelines and possessing excellent design tool literacy
3. Studying design briefs, developing concepts and executing content (online and offline)
4. Developing illustrations, designs, logos and branding materials
5. Communicating effectively with team members, stakeholders and clients to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality designs
6. Understanding market, new softwares and tools, multimedia design and latest industry trends
7. Delivering tasks on deadline alongside keeping secure backlog of “work-in-progress” and "finished" projects that are accessible to rest of team.
8. Performing regular audits on different platforms to ensure adherence to the corporate identity, reporting any violations and taking necessary follow up actions
9. Ensuring high quality outputs by delivering or following up on the quality and specs of any printable marketing/office materials with print houses and advertising agencies
Key skills/ Job requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Art, Graphic Design, or related field
2. Minimum of 3 years experience in visual design and motion graphics and minimum one year experience in video editing
3. Complete portfolio of multimedia design content showcasing skills and experience
4. In-depth knowledge of software design programs such as InVision, Adobe Creative Suite and Sketch
5. Excellent knowledge of storyboarding, visual designs and animation
6. Keen eye for aesthetics and visually appealing content
7. Independent operator with an ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
8. Excellent communication, collaboration, and time-management skills
9. Ability to work in a fast-paced multi cultural environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
10. Prior experience of working in a high growth, fast paced startup is preferred but not essential
11. Fluency in English is a must
