Kemet Corporation for BIM Engineering is looking for a " BIM Infrastructure Engineer " to be a part of their team.
Kemet Corporation is a leading company with more than 40 years of experience in Assisting clients' project teams to use BIM software to carry out the engineering process on projects by delivering detailed and tailored workflows and guides. They are specialized in the fields of architectural, civil, mechanical, and electrical engineering.
Job Duties:
- Able to collect needed data for his discipline
- Creating 2D drawings and 3D models from BIM data.
- Model and manage wet and dry utilities.
- Assisting in the coordination of BIM models with other building systems and trades.
- Conducting basic clash detection to identify and report conflicts between different building systems.
- Collaborating with senior BIM staff and project teams to ensure BIM models are accurate and up-to-date.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Infrastructure, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in BIM modeling and coordination of utility networks.
- Proficiency in Revit, Civil 3D, and Navisworks with a focus on wet and dry utilities.
- Strong understanding of utility network design, including water, drainage, electricity, and telecom systems.
- Familiarity with BIM standards, clash detection, and infrastructure workflows.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
