THE JOB:

As a Barista, you will bring energy and enthusiasm to every shift, creating memorable guest experiences through exceptional beverage preparation and service. You’ll operate in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, crafting beverages, handling transactions, and ensuring the workspace is clean and stocked. By mastering the art of personalized service, you’ll help guests savor their coffee moments while enjoying a seamless experience.
THE STARTING RATE: $16.3097

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

Prepare and serve beverages, including lattes, cappuccinos, brewed coffee, and other menu items, following established recipes and quality standards. Handle cash transactions, accurately process payments, and follow proper cash handling procedures. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the workspace, including front and back of house areas. Restock inventory, unload and organize warehouse orders, and ensure all items are properly labeled and stored. Provide exceptional guest service by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints within your scope of authority, and maintaining a welcoming environment. Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning, restocking, and organizing the work area.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

At least 18 years of age or older. Strong ability to engage with guests in a positive, friendly, and efficient manner. Proficient in preparing basic coffee drinks such as lattes, cappuccinos, and brewed coffee. Comfortable with POS systems and handling cash accurately. Thrives in a high-volume environment, especially during convention seasons, while maintaining service quality during slower periods. Willing to learn, contribute to a positive team environment, and adapt to changing workflows. Ability to maintain a clean and orderly workspace, manage inventory, and follow safety and sanitation procedures.
