THE JOB:



As a Barista/Fountain Worker, you will set the stage for an excellent guest experience by serving guests in our quick-service restaurants to include the Starbucks locations and Backstage Deli at Luxor! By understanding our guests’ unique stories and needs, you will deliver WOW experiences that our guests will carry with them far and beyond their stay with us.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:



Take and process orders and serve and garnish food and drinks efficiently and accurately.
Collect cash or other forms of payment, while following all proper cash handling and comp procedures.
Maintain the cleanliness, sanitation, and the appearance of the front/back of house and dining area without interfering with the comfort of guests.
Pack and complete order as per guests' preference with any necessary condiments.
Properly label and date products per safety and sanitation procedures.
Perform opening and closing duties based upon shift assignment.
Unload warehouse orders and stock the orders to designated storage maintaining organization, stock and replenish products as needed in workstation, counters, tables, etc.
Resolve guest complaints within scope of authority; otherwise, refer the matter to management, notify supervisor and/or Security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:



Must be at least 18 years of age. Previous barista or food handler experience. Prior customer or guest service experience. Prior cash handling and knowledge of using a Point of System (POS). Prior casino, hotel or similar resort setting experience. Looks forward to working with a team to provide positive experiences. Takes pride in their work, can multi-task and describes themselves as detail oriented. Enjoys helping others and likes to make a good impression. Currently has a Food Handler card or the ability to obtain one.

THE STARTING PAY:



$15.79 per hour + potential tips

THE SCHEDULE:



On-Call. Must be able to work varied shifts to include weekends and holidays.
