Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Validation Engineer with expertise in Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) development to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in deploying models on FPGA to emulate sensors and actuators for HIL benches for time critical, custom functionality, with proficiency in Matlab/Simulink, Python, Canoe CAPL scripting, and working with Vector HIL benches and VTestStudio.


Job description


    • Develop and deploy models on FPGA to emulate sensor and actuator behavior for HIL benches.


    • Design, implement, and validate HIL benches for automotive applications.


    • Automate test procedures and workflows for HIL systems using Python, CAPL scripts, and VTestStudio.


    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate HIL solutions to support testing multiple product lines.


    • Perform test automation and validation processes to ensure system integrity and reliability.




Job requirements


    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, Communications, or a related field.


    • 3+ years of experience in automotive validation position.


    • Extensive experience in developing and deploying models on FPGA for HIL applications is a must.


    • Proficient in Matlab/Simulink for model-based design and simulation.


    • Experience with Intel’s Quartus Prime tool chain is a plus.


    • Experience with HIL benches development, particularly with VT System HIL benches and tools.


    • Hands-on experience with BLDC motors and control systems.


    • Strong programming skills in Python and experience with Canoe CAPL scripts and VTestStudio for test automation.


    • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
