Role Description:

This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Project Manager based in Cairo, Egypt. The Assistant Project Manager will be responsible for expediting project tasks, managing inspections, overseeing logistics, and ensuring project timelines are met efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Time Control and Scheduling:
Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring that all phases of the project are completed on time.
Monitor project timelines closely, identifying potential delays and implementing corrective actions as needed.
Coordinate with team members to ensure that all deliverables are completed within the established deadlines.
Deliverables and Quality Management:
Oversee the preparation, submission, and approval of project deliverables, ensuring they meet client expectations and industry standards.
Implement quality control processes to ensure the highest level of accuracy and consistency in all project outputs.
Conduct regular quality checks and reviews to ensure compliance with project requirements and specifications.
Stakeholder Coordination:
Act as a central point of contact for all project stakeholders, including clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
Facilitate clear and consistent communication between all parties to ensure project objectives are understood and met.
Coordinate meetings, workshops, and presentations to keep stakeholders informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle.
Internal Team Collaboration:
Work closely with architects, engineers, and other internal team members to ensure seamless project execution.
Facilitate internal coordination meetings to align team members on project goals, deliverables, and timelines.
Assist in resolving any internal conflicts or issues that may arise during the project.
Building Information Modeling (BIM):
Utilize BIM knowledge to support the integration of design and construction processes.
Ensure that all project designs are created, updated, and managed within the BIM framework.
Collaborate with the BIM Manager and other team members to ensure that BIM standards and protocols are followed.
Risk Management:
Identify potential risks related to time, cost, and quality, and develop mitigation strategies.
Monitor and report on risk factors throughout the project lifecycle, escalating issues to the Projects Manager as needed.
Compliance and Standards:
Ensure that all project activities adhere to local regulations, building codes, and industry standards.
Assist in obtaining necessary permits and approvals, ensuring compliance at all stages of the project.
Reporting and Documentation:
Prepare detailed project reports for the Projects Manager and other stakeholders, highlighting progress, challenges, and next steps.
Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including schedules, budgets, meeting minutes, and correspondence.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering.
Experience:
Up to 10 years of experience in project management within the architecture or engineering design consultancy field.
Experience with design review, client coordination, and budget management is preferred.
Skills:
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera).
Knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, or other design software is a plus.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
