The project:


A residential and mixed-use development consisting of multiple mid-rise buildings.


We are hiring an ambitious and forward-thinking assistant planning manager to join our established and growing team in Egypt.


Supports planning functions on the allocated project and contributes as required.


Assists in verification of projects/tenders to ensure alignment to define planning processes, as required.
Contributes with the project management function in the delivery of projects, as required, ensuring they are delivered on time and profitably.

You’ll be responsible for:


  • Assists with developing detailed plans taking full cognisance of logistics/site/project constraints
  • Interfaces with the project team, contributes to the production of the weekly progress report to the project team, and understands functional obligations under the form of a contract.
  • Reviews and captures productivity to measure progress.
  • Develops effective working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Incorporates sustainable design and procurement process within integrated programmes
  • Challenges and ensures health and safety through programme integration
  • Assists, establishes and oversees project work plans and deadlines.
  • Undertakes tasks required to fulfil the requirements of the project/assignment.
  • Works collaboratively towards the common goal of a net zero carbon transition and shares responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.

You’ll need to have: 


  • A relevant degree qualification.
  • Working towards professional qualification, e.g., CIOB, APM and PMI.
  • Basic competency to produce basic programmes and sequence plans with minimal supervision.
  • Basic software user.
  • Basic understanding in built environments and with projects.
  • Basic understanding of different procurement routes and types and forms of contract.
