Job Summary:
As an Assistant Director of Sales, your primary role entails providing support to the Director of Sales in leading and managing the sales team, overseeing daily sales operations, executing action plans, achieving goals, and meeting targets. Your responsibilities will encompass the following key areas:
General Duties and Responsibilities:
· Execute various sales activities (such as face-to-face sales calls, telephone calls, entertainment events, sight inspections, etc.) to generate and maintain major accounts and assigned segments.
· Ensure comprehensive client servicing by providing thorough and complete coverage of the sales team, aiming to achieve targets and maximize productivity.
· Establish sales objectives, develop action plans, and set targets for the team.
· Enforce selling strategies during negotiations and capitalize on upselling opportunities within the sales team.
· Monitor direct competition and ensure that all members of the sales team have complete awareness of competitor activities at all times.
· Consolidate relevant information for month-end sales reports.
· Actively contribute to the preparation of the marketing plan as requested by superiors.
· Actively participate in achieving the hotel's budgets, particularly the rooms' budget.
· Operate in a safe and environmentally friendly way to protect guests’ and colleagues’ health and safety, as well as protect and conserve the environment.
· Comply with the hotel environmental, health and safety policies and procedures.
