Application Engineer IJob DescriptionPosition Title: Application Engineer (AE) ICategory: FTEUnit / Division / Department / Section: Applications and Value EngineeringLocation: EgyptTasks and ResponsibilitiesLead-to-Order Phase: Review and understand all the latest International Standards applicable to Glass fiber composite products. Review and understand all the latest Key End User and Client specifications applicable to Glass fiber composite products. Review all submitted project inquiry documents to understand the application requirements and design parameters. Coordinate with the Sales/Proposal departments to arrange any missing design parameters or project documents. Issue detailed Application Engineering submittals. Project Execution Phase: Perform a technical review of received Sales Orders to ensure the proper product selection and execution. Issue the production System Summary and update detailed Application Engineering submittals to reflect the latest Bill of Quantity and purchase order documents. Qualifications Academics & Degrees: B.Sc. Engineering, Engineering Diploma Years and Position of Experience: 0 – 2 years as Fresh Graduate, Intern, Trainee Engineer Skills General Engineering Principles: Basic Composites Design: Basic Piping System Design: Basic Technical Writing: Basic Engineering Software Tools: Excel, CAD Competencies Analytical Thinking Attention to Detail Adaptability and Learning Agility SkillsSpan of CommunicationInternal Proposals Engineers Component Design Engineers Project Engineers Piping Design EngineerExternal: Client EngineersDecision-Making and Authority: Issue detailed technical submittals.EducationB.Sc.
