API SPECIALIST

Job Purpose:

To implement and develop API services according to the set priorities, strategy and project’s needs

Function:1. Implement and develop API services to ensure delivery of business requirements according to the desired quality and agreed timeline. 2. Prepare of related documentations and models for API.3. Support the dedicated production support team in troubleshooting to address production crisis.4. Develop and implement the required API services in line with functional requirements, development standards and agreed timelines. 5. Collaborate with testing team and business users to review application functionality and test results.6. Support the dedicated production support team in troubleshooting to address production crisis.7. Prepare the technical documentation of the implemented API. 8. Pick up knowledge of the tools and platforms to ensure the completion of the assigned work successfully.9. Perform unit testing of the built components as a quality assurance check before releasing it for User Acceptance Testing.

Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent 2-4 years working experience in IT Expertise in integration technology and solutions design involving enterprise service bus is a plus C#.NET, ASP.NET, Windows Script Host and PHP. SQL Server Reporting Services, XML, and Crystal Reports. Data warehousing, ESB, ERP Oracle. Working knowledge of continuous build, unit testing and integration testing tools Windows & AIX OS Knowledge IBM WMQ & IBM WAS KnowledgeSkills Good command of English and Arabic languages (written & spoken)  Good Communication and Presentation Skills Good problem Solving & Incident Management Skills Good Change Management Skills  Good Analytical Thinking Skills
