Role Purpose
  • Implement & develop Realtime rules and use Machine Learning on the Fraud Management System , this includes investigating, analyzing, managing, and reacting to fraud cases of dynamic fraud types. 
  • Develop and ensure the effective delivery of innovative strategies, Fraud management system developments and automation to combat fraud, through assessment and evaluation, while concentrating on the quality of investigation and prevention. 
  • Ensure proper analysis and optimum responsive actions for all relevant fraud behaviors
     


Key Accountabilities & Decision Ownership
  • Responsible for detecting, analysis, reporting & preventing/minimizing fraud resulting from process/system gaps, or incidents and take the needed actions.
  • Develop Realtime rules and use Machine Learning  & control framework 
  • To develop and ensure the effective delivery of innovative strategies, Fraud management system developments and automation to combat fraud, through assessment and evaluation, while concentrating on the quality of investigation and prevention.
  • Ensure proper analysis and optimum responsive actions for all relevant fraud behaviors. 
  • Responsible for development of all critical & mandatory reporting to CBE/NTRA, VF Group/Vodacom & Internal stakeholders.


Core Competencies, Knowledge, and Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in the Anti-Fraud field or in a related area.
  • Excellent analytical & Communication skills.
  • Solid Telecom Experience
  • High ability to deliver with applied innovation, speed and simplicity. 
  • Good organizational skills and attention to details is required
  • IT or Engineering expertise is a plus.
