Airport Loader - (BMA + BBA)

To assist in the safe and efficient handling of aircraft baggage, cargo, and mail by performing tasks such as loading, unloading, baggage building, baggage breakup, aircraft chocking, coning, and other operational duties as trained.

• Load and unload baggage, cargo, and mail from aircraft holds safely and efficiently.
• Build baggage containers/trollies (BMA) as per instructions, ensuring adherence to safety standards.
• Perform baggage breakup (BBA) by sorting and delivering baggage to the arrival carousel,
• Carry out aircraft chocking and coning operations to secure the aircraft during ground handling processes as per the instruction received from the team leader.
• Handle baggage and cargo with care to minimize damage and ensure accurate delivery to the intended destinations.
• Operate non-motorised equipment such as baggage trolleys, carts and conveyor belts…etc, as required under supervision and as per training received.
• Ensure compliance with safety and security regulations while working in airside areas.

• Follow instructions provided by supervisors, team leaders, or load controllers to maintain operational efficiency.
• Assist in the movement of ground support equipment (GSE) as required for operational tasks.
• Report any incidents, equipment defects, or operational issues to the supervisor immediately.
• Adhere to all airport safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE and maintaining a safe work environment.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in operational areas, including equipment and workstations.
• Participate in required training and refresher programs to ensure competency in assigned tasks.
• Collaborate with team members to complete tasks within the required timeframes to achieve on-time performance.

• Physical fitness and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
