Job Purpose
To ensure efficient and high-quality cleaning services for aircraft cabins, adhering to airline standards, operational procedures, and safety regulations. The role includes performing cleaning tasks, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting the overall cabin cleaning team.
Key Result Responsibilities
- Perform Turnaround Cleaning, including cleaning aircraft cabins while on the ground prior to departure within a defined ground time.
- Assist in Transit Cleaning, a type of turnaround cleaning performed with transit passengers on board.
- Support Layover/Night-Stop Cleaning, conducted when the aircraft has a longer predefined ground time, ensuring it adheres to airline standards without removing cabin panels or galley inserts.
- support in In-flight Cleaning, performed by cabin crew if required by the customer airline.
- To ensure that all rubbish is collected from the aircraft and disposed of in the designated areas/location only.
Key Result Responsibilities - Continued
- Perform Deep Cleaning operations during extended ground times as required by customer airlines.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and security guidelines, including proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Report any irregularities, damages, or incidents during cleaning operations to the Cabin Cleaning Supervisor.
- Support Safety Management System (SMS) by understanding SMS principles and promptly reporting hazards, incidents, or near-misses.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the cleaning team.
Qualifications (Academic, training, languages)
- Physical fitness and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Work Experience
- Experience in housekeeping or cleaning,
- Experience in Aviation will be an advantage.
