The AI Product Owner is a key position within the Vodafone Business Unit (VBU), responsible for overseeing the product development and business development of the different AI Products families, Services categories and technologies. This individual will drive the end-to-end product lifecycle, working closely with cross-functional teams, customers, and partners to ensure the successful launch and ongoing management of AI solutions that address customer needs and align with the company’s business objectives. Define sales and presales teams’ strategies and go-to-market activities across all AI products and services to maximize sales, influence pricing, communicate the products' benefits to the market.
Strategic Leadership
• Define the vision and roadmap for AI products and services in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Align product strategies with the broader goals of the enterprise business unit.
• Monitor market trends, customer needs, and emerging AI technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
Product Development & Lifecycle Management
• Manage the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and development to launch and scaling.
• Prioritize features and backlogs to ensure the delivery of high-impact solutions.
• Work closely with AI engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Responsible for making Market research, competitive analysis and analytical thinking to decide the optimum features to be added to product backlog and prioritize it to select what should be implemented first to achieve targets and optimize value.
Stakeholder Collaboration
• Partner with enterprise customers to understand their unique challenges and ensure AI products meet their needs.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and customer success teams to develop go-to-market strategies.
• Act as the primary point of contact between the business unit and AI development teams.
Operational Excellence
• Establish KPIs to measure product success and track performance.
• Continuously improve product delivery processes, leveraging agile methodologies.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy and security standards across all AI offerings.
Financial KPIs for Enterprise AI Solutions
• Responsible for delivering AI solutions annual revenue & growth KPIs while controlling product EBITA
Education
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business, AI, or a related field (Master’s degree or MBA is preferred).
Experience
• 2+ years of experience in B2B product management or commercial role.
• 5+ years of experience in AI-related roles.
• Proven track record of launching and scaling AI products.
• Experience working in ICT or technology-driven environment is an advantage.

• Deep understanding of AI technologies and their enterprise applications is mandatory
• Strong business acumen with the ability to link technical capabilities to customer needs.
• Expertise in agile and lean product management practices.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
