As the Advertising Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing an industry-specific portfolio of advertising clients and ensuring revenue growth from our Property Developer client base. Your key focus will be on enhancing relationships with both clients' direct and key planners, buyers, and senior leads within the media agencies, creating opportunities for our long-term existing clients whilst winning new advertisers for both dubizzle and Bayut.
In this role, you will:
- Develop and successfully execute a comprehensive sales plan to meet or exceed growth and revenue goals for your industry.
- Identify opportunities in the market by creating and targeting a list of key potential property developers, matching our products to the client's needs.
- Understand the media agency landscape and who the decision makers are for the property developers who activate their media buys via their media agency, building strong reasoning for why they should advertise on dubizzle/Bayut.
- Perform high levels of sales activity to build a strong pipeline and portfolio of clients across all stages of the sales cycle (source, pitch, negotiate, convert, onboard and rebook).
- Develop and maintain a high level of product knowledge on both the dubizzle and Bayut advertising products and market trends, becoming a market expert in your field.
- Consistently deliver for your advertisers by creating well-structured and thorough media plans/proposal slides which fit the client’s needs.
- Actively manage each campaign, improving performance where possible. Analyse performance, guiding the client on the next steps.
- Provide solid weekly/monthly revenue forecasts to management that are accurate.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of direct reports to achieve individual and team performance goals.
- Foster a positive team environment and promote open communication, trust, and collaboration.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
- Set clear performance expectations and assist team members in developing career growth plans.
- Ensure team members are up-to-date with skills, policies, and procedures related to Compensation and Benefits functions.
- Develop and implement strategies for workload management and project prioritisation.
