Job Description:



The Department of Sociology, Egyptology and Anthropology (SEA) at the American University in Cairo (AUC) is seeking to recruit adjunct faculty for the Sociology and Anthropology BA programs. Candidates should be able to demonstrate a record of teaching undergraduate courses in the Sociology and/or Anthropology of the Middle East and Arab World. Adjunct faculty are eligible to teach a maximum of two courses in either the Anthropology or Sociology programs.

Requirements:



Applicants should be able to demonstrate experience of university-level teaching and student engagement. Applicants holding an MA are eligible to apply, however those who have completed or are about to defend a PhD will be given priority.
