Key Responsibilities:Payroll Management:Oversee the payroll process, ensuring that all employees are paid accurately and on time, while ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws and company policies.
Accounts Receivable:Manage the accounts receivable process, ensuring timely invoicing, collections, and cash flow management. Coordinate with clients and internal departments to resolve billing discrepancies.
Daily Operational Tasks:Supervise and assist with daily accounting operations, including journal entries, reconciliations, and maintaining accurate records of financial transactions. Ensure that all operations comply with company policies and financial regulations.
Financial Reporting:Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, highlighting key financial metrics and variances. Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
Team Leadership:Lead and develop a team of accounting professionals, providing mentorship and fostering a collaborative, efficient work environment.
Process Improvement:Identify and implement improvements in accounting processes to increase efficiency and reduce errors. Ensure all accounting software and systems are utilized effectively.
Compliance & Audit Support:Ensure all accounting practices comply with legal and regulatory standards. Prepare and support audits as required, providing necessary documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- 6+ years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a managerial role prefer have experience in education companies
- Strong personality and excellent communication skills; ability to confidently lead a team and engage with internal and external stakeholders.
- High proficiency in accounting software "ERP System" and MS Excel.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and organizational skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
