Accounting Manager

Money Fellows is seeking a skilled Accounting Manager to lead our accounting department. This role involves overseeing the daily financial operations, ensuring compliance, and providing accurate financial reporting to support decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles and a proven track record in financial management.

• Supervise all accounting activities including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Coordinate the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
• Manage budget and forecasting processes, monitoring variance and reporting on key performance indicators.
• Lead audits, ensuring financial accuracy and compliance with standards.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and improve efficiency.
• Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and recommendations.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and accounting regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or treasury roles, preferably within the FinTech, technology, or financial services industry.
• Proven experience managing accounting, treasury, and financial operations in a high-growth environment.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax compliance.
• Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
• High level of integrity and attention to detail.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance in the FinTech industry.
