Job Summary:
LikeCard Group is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Accounting
Manager to oversee the accounting, bookkeeping, and statutory audit
activities. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in e-commerce and be a qualified accountant with over 10 years of experience in
a similar role. This role is responsible for ensuring financial accuracy,
compliance with statutory regulations, and supporting the company's financial
decision-making process.Key Responsibilities:
Accounting & Bookkeeping
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with IFRS.
- Maintain and manage the chart of accounts, financial statements, and supporting documentation.
- Supervise month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial transactions.
Statutory Audit & Compliance
- Coordinate and manage external statutory audits, ensuring timely submission of audited financial statements.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities, auditors, and tax consultants to maintain compliance with local financial regulations.
- Prepare and review all necessary documentation for audits, and statutory reporting.
Financial Management & Reporting
- Prepare monthly financial statements and reports for senior management.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management processes.
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team to ensure high performance and continuous improvement.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams to support business operations.
Drive efficiency and process improvements in
accounting and financial reporting activities.RequirementsQualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional qualification (e.g., CPA, CMA, ACCA, or equivalent) is required.
- 10+ years of experience in accounting, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
- Strong experience in e-commerce, digital payments, or online platforms is preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of Egyptian accounting standards, IFRS, and tax regulations.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems and accounting software.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic.
