Key Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.
Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to support decision-making.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and accounting standards.
Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support business initiatives.
Conduct regular audits to ensure the accuracy of financial data and compliance with internal controls.
Prepare reports for senior management and stakeholders, highlighting key financial metrics and trends.
Assist in the preparation of tax returns and liaise with external auditors during audits.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
