In this programme, student will explore the fundamentals HVAC systems. HVAC systems generally have common basic elements, although they may differ dramatically in physical appearance and arrangement. Topic starts with understanding of psychometrics, which deals with the properties of moist air, the presentation of air conditioning processes in the psychometric chart. Then common basic elements of HVAC systems and the types of systems that are used to meet the requirements of different building types and economic considerations. Brief explanation of heat and cooling load calculation and duct sizing.
