Sigma has been established in 1997 as a joint stock company under the umbrella of the Investment Law No. 8

of 1997. The Company started commercial operations in 2001.

Sigma :- The original plant facility is located at Mubarak Industrial City in “QUESNA”, 80 KM away from Cairo.

The total land area is approximately 14,500 m², fully utilized with no room for further extensions.

“Sigmatec” based in the 6th of October Industrial City, has been established to add new sterile production

capabilities that did not exist at the original facility (which had no room to accommodate such expansions).

Sigmatec total land area is around 60,000 m², of which 30,000 m² are currently being used and the excess is

reserved for future expansions.

Sigma ranks as number 9th between the top ten companies in the pharmaceutical market with 2.5 market share with sales volume 533 million from 21.5 billion LE market total sales volume.
