Founded in 1966, La Constructa started its operations as General Contractor and Construction Manager under the name of EJM Contracting.

In 1994, La Constructa began a fresh start on the construction market merging innovative and traditional strategies, further developing its record through the construction of landmark structures.

In 1998, La Constructa was the first company in Lebanon to have been awarded the ISO 9002:1994 certification for quality and excellence in the field of General Contracting, Construction Management and Project Management. The achievement of this internationally recognized certification reflects La Constructa’s continuing ambition to provide the highest standards of quality in construction and Client services.

In 2005, the organization went through a major restructuring which lead the Company to reach its current growth and began to bid and construct successfully larger projects in Lebanon and Syria.

In 2006, and in line with its vision for a regional growth, La Constructa launched its operations in Sudan under the name of La Constructa for Construction and Contracting and established its offshore company, La Constructa International Offshore sal, as a vehicle for further international expansion.
