Jubail O&M company has been awarded a 20 year contract to operate the Marafiq IWPP in Jubail which has a capacity of 2750MW for power and 800000 m3/day of water production. It has 12 GE Frame 7FA gas turbines, 3 back pressure steam turbines,1 condensing steam turbine and 27 MED’s. The plant is expected to be fully operational by March 2010.
