Gleeds Gulf is a joint venture company between Gleeds and Al Torath, with offices in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Qatar, from which it undertakes projects throughout the Middle East: in the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Yemen and Oman. The company is also involved with project opportunities in Kuwait, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.

Al Torath's staff of around 110, based primarily at sites around the UAE, provides a multi-disciplinary service including architecture, engineering, PM (which in this region often encompasses Cost Management) and QS. The workload broadly breaks down into around:

• 25% Building Engineering and Architectural Design

• 25% Civil Engineering

• 50% Project Management/Construction Management

Recent projects for major clients include:

1. ADCO (Abu Dhabi on shore oil company): administration, accommodation and police station buildings at an oil field near Abu Dhabi.

2. ETISALAT (UAE telecom co): several buildings in various locations.

3. Abu Dhabi Municipality: housing complexes, buildings and infrastructure projects.

4. Al Ain Municipality: housing complexes, buildings and infrastructure projects.

5. Private Office of Sheikh Zayed: housing complexes and buildings.
