Gatron (Industries) Ltd. has the Polymerization plant & technology from Zimmer A.G., Germany, and the Solid State Polycondensation plant & technology from Sinco Engineering S.p.A., Italy. With the best combination of technologies, (Zimmer & Sinco), Gatron is producing the highest quality P.E.T. Resin bottle grade, named as, "Gatronova PET Resin".

In 1984, Gatron was established as a producer of texturized and flat polyester filament yarn. Innovation and development has made Gatron the first producer of microdenier, cationic dyeable, spun dyed and peach skin yarn in the country. Gatron also produces various other specialties of polyester filament yarn, including air texturized yarn and thick / thin yarn. Apart from regular texturized yarn, fully drawn yarn on cops/paper cheese, spun drawn yarn and hot tube yarn are also produced. With more than 30% share of the entire Pakistan market, Gatron is also known as the market leader in the terms of quality.

Gatron's PET Resin is used by all bottle producers in Pakistan. The technology, operational experience in the Polymer field and the resultant product quality, make "Gatronova PET Resin", equivalent to any good quality PET Resin in the world. Gatronova is suitable for all applications of PET, including the production of bottles for carbonated soft drinks, mineral water and edible oil etc.
