Al Abbas Group of Companies comprises of following three large manufacturing units:

• Al-Abbas Sugar Mills Limited – producing Sugar, Industrial Alcohol etc.

• Al-Abbas Industries Limited (Formerly Universal Board & Industries Ltd) – expected

to commence production of Ferroalloys, MDFB and Calcium Carbide.

• Thatta Cement Company Limited – producing various types of Cement

The total capital outlay of these three industrial units of the group is more than USD 44 million whereas; the total shareholders equity is USD 19 million. The total turnover of two manufacturing concerns, which are already in production, is more than USD 45 million.
