Bayt.com’s participation at the event, which has increased pertinence this year owing to the growing numbers of unemployed in the Kingdom, demonstrates Bayt.com’s unwavering commitment to helping Saudi citizens to find work, and to help improve and energize the country’s labour market in general. It also comes on the back of a continuously growing number of professional KSA job seekers registered on the leading jobsite; which currently enjoys a database of over 3 Million Job Seekers.
As part of the convention, Bayt.com’s team of recruitment professionals will also use the forum to discuss plans for the Middle East’s first ever pan-regional Virtual Job Fair (VJF), following the tremendous successes of country-specific versions held recently in UAE, Kuwait, KSA and Jordan. Employers will be able to see for themselves and learn first hand how the VJF works and how successful the events have been.
Amer Zureikat, at Bayt.com, discussed the significance of Bayt.com’s participation in the Saudi Career Convention. He said: “At the centre of our company’s operation is the continual aim to effectively connect qualified job seeking candidates with gainful career opportunities.
“Despite the majority of our work being conducted on an online basis, actually being present at careers events such as the Saudi Career Convention offers two significant benefits – it gives us an opportunity to explain and promote our various online applications that can be of significant help to employers and job seekers, and it provides us with a unique forum to meet and network with key business and industry leaders in the Kingdom; with a view to together develop and work towards various strategies and best practices that will get more of the Kingdom’s nationals and residents, into the workplace, efficiently and expediently” he added.
Bayt.com has been actively matching employers with talented employees in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the past nine years, and currently operates three local offices in Jeddah, Riyadh and Khobar. Jobs in KSA account for a large portion of the over 5,000 Middle East job vacancies currently posted on Bayt.com, the Middle East’s leading jobsite. Bayt.com undertakes a variety of Kingdom-specific research, which it posts on the Bayt.com website and makes available free to employers, including the quarterly Consumer Confidence Index (CCI) and the annual Salary Survey.
