Top 5 New Year’s Resolutions in the Middle East for 2013

The end of the year is always a good time to think about what we want to do differently next year. Many of you will resolve to do a whole host of things in 2013. Some will vow to eat healthier, lose weight, or save money – while others will pledge to land a new job, get a promotion, or earn more money. But, what do people in the Middle East look forward to change? We’ve done the research and we bring you the top 5 New Year’s resolutions in the Middle East for 2013. Before we go on and list the top New Year’s resolutions in the Middle East for 2013, it is worthwhile to note that Bayt.com had previously gauged the feelings of professionals in the Middle East and North Africa earlier this year, and found that professionals in the Middle East and North Africa have overall positive expectations for better economic, business and employment prospects in 2013.

Following from these results, a more recent poll by Bayt.com on the Top New Year’s Resolutions among professionals in the Middle East and North Africa showed that 75.3% of professionals in the Middle East and North Africa are feeling positive about what 2013 has to bring (if that’s not a majority!) Bayt.com poll also showed that, in addition to personal resolutions, most people in the Middle East have career-related resolutions. Moreover, 82.3% of respondents said they usually stick to their resolutions – both personal and professional – and follow them until they are all fulfilled. Well done, MENA.

  2. Get a higher salary
  3. Get a degree
  4. Be more productive
  5. Develop leadership skills
