Due to the advent of multiple environmental issues, making eco-friendly choices has become an absolute necessity. In this poll, we asked professionals about their green habits at home and at the workplace, and got very interesting answers.

Data for the Bayt.com ' Green Workplaces in the Middle East and North Africa’ poll was collected online from June 24 - August 12, 2014, with 7,925 respondents from UAE, KSA, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Algeria, Egypt, Morocco, and Tunisia.

Highlights:

96% of professionals in the Middle East and North Africa say that it is important to go ‘green’ in their lifestyle.

43% say their workplace provides them with a recycling box.

8 in 10 professionals reuse items at work either ‘sometimes’ or ‘all the time’.

49% say that their workplace encourages them to go ‘paperless’ and use online resources.
