The aim of this survey is to understand the sentiments of people towards entrepreneurs and entrepreneurship in the Middle East. How difficult is it set up a company in Egypt, for example? What exactly do you need if you want to start a business in Dubai? What are the main obstacles entrepreneurs have to deal with in Saudi Arabia? Are entrepreneurs in the Middle East getting the support they need? All these questions and more are answered in this survey.

Data for the Bayt.com ‘Entrepreneurship in the MENA2015’ survey was collected online from September27 to October42015, with8,164 respondents from the UAE, KSA, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Algeria, Egypt, Morocco and Tunisia.
