  • 83% of recruiters agree that online recruitment has facilitated the hiring process at their companies.
  • 74% of non-managerial employers consider interviews as the most popular tool within the hiring process.
  • Nine in10 companies need less than4 weeks to make the hiring decision (88% for managerial roles and91% for non-managerial).
  • 62% of job seekers created online CVs/public profiles on top job sites during their most recent job hunt.
  • Phone calls is the most popular method of informing a candidate that they have been selected for a job.
  • Data for the2018 Bayt.com ‘Middle East and North Africa Hiring Practices’ poll was collected online from March14,2018 to April26,2018. Results are based on a sample of2,491 respondents. Countries that participated are the UAE, Algeria, Bahrain, Egypt, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, and others.
