Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate written materials, including documents, reports, and publications, from source language to target language with high accuracy.
  • Ensure that translations are culturally appropriate and meet the needs of the intended audience.
  • Review and edit translated materials for grammatical, stylistic, and content accuracy.
  • Collaborate with other team members and departments to produce high-quality translations.
  • Maintain terminology databases and glossaries to ensure consistency in translations.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in language services.
  • Manage project deadlines and communicate progress effectively to stakeholders.
  • Engage in continuous learning and professional development to enhance translation skills.


Skills

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field.
  • Fluency in at least two languages, including Arabic and English.
  • Strong understanding of grammar, syntax, and cultural nuances of both source and target languages.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using translation software and tools.

Desired Experience:

  • A minimum of 5 years and a maximum of 10 years of professional translation experience.
  • Experience in specialized fields such as legal, medical, or technical translation is preferred.
  • A history of working in a collaborative environment is a plus.
