Job Description

Role Summary


This role will focus on supporting the fleet management team in building and maintaining relationships with 3rd party logistics partners. The key task is to provide visibility on fleet operations and compliance through proper reporting and site visits.. You should be involved in best practice sharing, data exchange, and oversight to elevate fleet performance. You should also be able to directly oversee the operations of Talabat's internal fleet.


What’s On Your Plate?


  • Support the Fleet Management team in building and maintaining strong relationships with all 3PL partners across the country


  • Build a trusting relationship with 3PLs that allows exchange of information and implementation of best practices 


  • Ensure sufficient data is shared to allow for educated directions & improvements in performance of the fleet


  • Generating reports related to fleet performance, fleet compliance, and site visit results


  • Maintain documentation and databases of suppliers, riders and vehicles


  • Monitor 3PL performance and collection of required data through on-site visits, and surveys


  • Able to manage multiple projects and work under strict deadlines


  • Create and improve procedures for 3PL partners to improve rider performance and satisfaction


  • Monitor and optimizing operations and performance of internal riders


  • Liaise with multiple stakeholders to manage performance, collect data and support in incident management


  • Able to manage multiple projects and work under strict deadlines



Qualifications

What Did We Order?


  • You have successfully completed a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Logistics, Management Information Systems, or Project Management 


  • Preferably you gained 2+ years of work experience in logistics firms, high growth startups, tech companies, consulting or IB


  • Strong Excel, Google Sheets, and data management skills


  • Strong project management and stakeholder management skills


  • You are a doer and a free thinker. You accept and adapt constantly to change


  • Willing to question the status quo when needed


  • Team player. We are looking for someone who fits the team and the company culture


  • Make it happen attitude, where results are ensured to be achieved regardless of all the obstacles
