Job Description
Role Summary
We are looking for a results-driven and strategic Senior Marketing Specialist to lead the marketing efforts for our non-food verticals, including grocery, pharmacy, electronics, flowers & cosmetics, and pets. This role is responsible for developing and executing data-driven growth campaigns that drive acquisitions, reorders, and category penetration. The ideal candidate will leverage 360-degree marketing tactics, working across multiple channels to enhance user engagement, optimize category performance, and maximize return on investment (ROI).
What’s On Your Plate?
- Work closely with the Head of Marketing and Brand teams to develop marketing campaigns that deliver on Bahrain’s growth targets.
- Develop and execute 360-degree marketing strategies to accelerate the growth of non-food verticals while ensuring alignment with Bahrain’s overall business goals.
- Build and execute 360-degree multi-channel and CRM campaigns to drive performance objectives (acquisitions and reorders).
- Utilize data-driven insights to identify category-specific growth opportunities, optimize campaign performance, and improve conversion rates.
- Work closely with the commercial and category management teams to co-develop category-specific promotions and partnerships that drive user demand.
- Collaborate with the regional and local teams to implement multi-channel marketing campaigns, including CRM, digital, offline activations, and performance marketing to increase customer acquisition and retention.
- Support on the development and lead on the execution of end-to-end growth campaigns.
- Ensure proper campaign go-to-market with a focus on measurement and reporting; tracking campaign results on a daily basis to control budget spending and enhance performance.
- Ability to understand the ROI and effectiveness of each campaign and tactics used, and using these learnings for future campaigns.
- Understand customer behavior through analysis, on-ground feedback from customers and sales to develop actionable insights.
Qualifications
What Did We Order?
- Succeeding in this role involves creating a balance between partnership strategy, marketing strategy, and business development.
- 4+ years of experience in consumer marketing, e-commerce, online services, or related experience with a proven record of delivering work with measurable results.
- Strong communication skills (written & verbal)
- Preferably Bilingual in English & Arabic
- Strong project management & analytical skills.
- Ownership Skills: a highly motivated and proactive individual. Willing to roll up their sleeves and go the extra mile to drive results.
- Experience in campaign management, preferably CRM / CVM in an e-commerce company.
- Strong stakeholder management and follow up skills with the ability to establish priorities and communicate expectations, working with both internal and external stakeholders to push projects to completion.
