Job Description
We are seeking a Sourcing Engineer to evaluate, develop, and optimize supplier performance. The role involves supplier audits, negotiations and ensuring the highest standards in quality, cost and delivery timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess current and potential suppliers through reviews, site visits, and audits.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery terms to meet cost and quality objectives.
- Collaborate with Supplier Quality teams to resolve quality or delivery issues.
- Develop strategies to optimize supplier relationships and enhance supply chain efficiency.
- Maintain and update supplier records, including certifications and performance metrics.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in sourcing or procurement, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in supplier evaluation tools and quality management systems.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing and cost optimization strategies.

- Cost Optimization: Skills in identifying opportunities for cost savings while maintaining quality and delivery performance.
- Project Management: Ability to manage multiple supplier relationships and projects simultaneously.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify problems in the supply chain and implement effective solutions.
