VAM Systems is currently looking for Senior System Administration Specialist for our Bahrain operations with the following skillsets & terms and conditions:


Professional Skills/Experience:


  • 13+ years, experience in designing and deploying Infrastructure, hardware, and networking solutions, security in Multi-Cloud (AWS & Azure).
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or any related field from an accredited institution.
  • Experience of working with multiple solution partners Microsoft, AWS, IBM, and systems integrators.
  • Project management and documentation Skills. 
  • Can lead and manage on the ground and virtual team. 
  • Takes accountability and responsibility of the department overall services. 
  • Good critical thinking and problem-solving skills with related to Infrastructure services.
  • Experience of monitoring of service thresholds. 
  • Strong attention to detail, Analytical, excellent time management and organizational and able to work in fast, paced, high volume environment. 
  • Knowledge of current technological developments/trends in area of expertise. 
  • Excellent command in Microsoft Windows operation systems and office.  
  • Working knowledge of systems monitoring.

  • Microsoft Office 365 | M365 General Services /On-premises/Azure AD/ Azure Design.
  • Managing, Configuring, and designing Exchange 2016/2019. 
  • Microsoft Cloud O365 Hybrid Platform, Tenant to tenant Migration, Azure VM, and networking.
  • Azure – VM, AD architecture, Azure AD P1, P2.
  • Cross forest Migration of Active directory.
  • Designing and Implementation of Microsoft Active Directory Infrastructure, Group Policies, ADFS.
  • Virtualization Deploy, manage, and maintain Hyper V, VMware and in integration with SAN storage with.RAW Device Mapping.
  • System Center SCCM, SCOM and Data Protection Manager. 
  • DNS, DHCP, management and all DNS management on premise and in Public Domain.
  • AWS Amazon Web services
  • EC2 High Availability& Scalability VPC, S3, IAM Roles, EBS Management Creation/Deletion and Expansion.
  • CloudWatch, Invoking lambda Functions, Autoscaling the Instances, AMI’s for instances.
  • Load Balancers, Implementation of SSL, Website Cookie management.
  • SharePoint Server architecture and web Publishing according to NCSC standards.
  • Networking
  • Core Understanding in Networking Concepts Lan, Wan, VLAN management in Switches, Datacenter Core switch architecture (9500) and basic understanding of switching and routing in an organization.
  • Natting configurations in Palo Alto firewall and troubleshooting Routing issues onsite and offsite.
  • Datacenter Storage Management, PBX
  • IBM – San Storage 3524/ IBM Flashsystem5000 Series, Expansion, Mapping Virtualization
  • Cloud telephony management and Integration with Microsoft teams.
  • Security and vulnerability Management
  • Qualys Vulnerability detection and assessment – Regular remediation of Vulnerabilities in server and clients.
  • Managing Axonius solution for asset management and tracking all the Antivirus and security compliance status.
  • Deploy, Manage Cortex XDR in Windows servers and clients and Linux, create scan and comply with the industry standards.
  • Manage Forescout Servers/ Application and for advanced network management detection of all network activity.
  • Manage, deploy, and maintain Palo alto firewall, rules, responsible for Firmware upgrades and continuous breach management.
  • File Storage Systems
  • Office 365 (SharePoint Online, Teams), Azure Files, One drive
  • AWS storage Gateway.
  • Infrastructure Management – Business As usual Task
  • Research, manage and test the Windows Update management.
  • Deploy Windows Update through Microsoft Arc.
  • Backup of Hyper V and Cloud Instances, AMI restores, Disaster Recovery.
  • Working through Permission management and expertise in tools like PowerShell to manage Azure, M365, AWS.
