Job Description

The role holder is responsible for maintaining and optimizing the BIBF’s IT infrastructure and Cloud environments. The responsibilities span

both traditional system administration tasks and security operations (SecOps) duties across the BIBF with an objective of providing quality

services to internal clients


Core Responsibilities

 Maintain network, server and computer systems and keep them up to date by installing and updating hardware and software components.

 Manage Identity & Access Management while ensuring security and compliance as per industry standards.

 Lead assigned IT infrastructure projects from inception to completion, coordinating cross-functional teams and vendors, while ensuring project timelines and deliverables are met.

 Monitor, maintain and provision Cloud environments across all cloud offerings (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, etc).

 Implement DevOps tooling to automate the deployment of core applications while maintaining high availability.

 Manage Backup & Disaster recovery solutions across on-premises and cloud environments.

 Configure network equipment, servers and technology tools, monitoring system performance, and troubleshooting issues promptly.

 Ensure security is maintained through software and hardware controls.

 Implement security best practices across the organization’s systems.

 Streamline operations by integrating automation procedures and optimizing orchestration.

 Manage L2 helpdesk escalations and lead IT helpdesk efforts.

 Create and maintain documentations relating to IT Infrastructure.

 Lead security operations efforts including response, management, and closure of security incidents.

 Propose and evaluate IT solutions and procedures to improve systems’ security, availability, and efficiency.

 Help running smooth and high-class seminars and events focusing on the health and quality of AV solutions.

 Develop the required dashboards and report to improve monitoring efficiency.

 Maintain quality preventive maintenance procedures and proactive support as per the SLA.

 Oversee the tracking and management of IT equipment.

 Undertake any other responsibilities in the department, as directed by the Head of Department. Define performance goals at the start of the year in discussion with the reporting

manager and ensure that the goals are achieved during the year.

 Identify the training and development requirements for self and agree on them with the reporting manager to ensure that the required trainings are arranged and attended.

 Keep abreast of professional developments, new techniques and current issues through continued education and professional growth


Academic Qualification

 Bachelor’s / Graduate degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / Computer Engineering discipline or relevant field is required

Professional Qualification

 Knowledge of Computer Hardware and Company Software is preferred

 Knowledge of IT infrastructure and Operating Systems

 Cloud Certifications

 Security Certifications


Minimum Experience

 More than 3-5 years of experience in a similar role is preferred

 Experience in System Administration, Security Operations and IT delivery management preferably in an organization of similar size
