Reporting to Head of Distribution - CLP, the Senior Customer Relationship Specialist will be responsible for developing new business through related distributors-partners and building relationships with large corporate customers directly in the market and ensure retention and growth of the existing portfolio and improvements in the service level. In collaboration with distributors-partners, they work directly with the customers organization and steers business and customer loyalty by engaging experts in various territories within Zurich. Supports central activities that benefit portfolio and market position. They will be responsible for Group risk and group savings solutions and affinity solutions to corporates.



This role will be based in Zurich Bahrain office. 




Job Accountabilities

As Senior Customer Relationship Specialist, your role will involve: 


Customer Relationship Management:


  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships and develop strategies to attract new customers either through brokers or direct.
  • Cross sell employee benefits /Ma’an solution across existing book.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key customer accounts.
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues promptly and effectively.

Account Management:


  • Manage a portfolio of key accounts, ensuring that customer needs are met.
  • Conduct regular account reviews to ensure customer satisfaction and identify opportunities for service improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent and effective service delivery.

Sales Support:


  • Assist in the development and implementation of customer retention strategies.
  • Support the sales team in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Provide insights and feedback to help shape product development and marketing strategies.

Customer Service Excellence:


  • Ensure all customer interactions are handled professionally and in line with company policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and report on customer service metrics and KPIs.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve customer service processes and practices.

Training and Development:


  • Mentor and train junior customer relationship specialists.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance customer service delivery.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities.


Job Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:


  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Insurance or Business Administration and 5 or more years of experience in customer relationship management, preferably in the insurance / broking industry managing corporate customers for employee benefits
  • Strong understanding of insurance products and services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Arabic language is mandatory.
